Hello, I’m Laura,

Founder of Wild Hearts, wedding planner, eternal optimist , hopeless romantic with a love for love and wild about weddings!

I am fuelled by a passion for organising, planning and attention to detail. I am best known for my bubbly personality and wanting to make others happy.

It all began for me being a sucker for great design, beautiful landscapes, the outdoors and a fiery love story.

My story is like yours as I myself chose a wonderful destination wedding back in 2017 to Venice and had a wedding planner. So I know first hand what it feels like to put all your trust and faith in your planner!

Put simply Elopement weddings are my main passion as I love putting my organisation, planning and love of weddings together to create the most perfect of wedding days for my couples.

I know your time is limited and your knowledge of the Scottish infrastructure (or lack of!) puts the fear of god into you. You’re wondering how do you even get to the amazing locations for Scottish elopements you’ve seen online.

And don’t even get me started on the legal paperwork - do you even need a marriage visitors visa?! Well, I will keep you informed about every aspect of the legality of being married here in Scotland.

This is all why I am here. I have been to the locations, got the knowledge and experience, vetted the suppliers and will make it simple, stress-free and beautiful just for you! So you can completely relax knowing that I have years of experience and as I said I have been in your shoes!

Glencoe - This is a tricky one, but if I HAD to choose Glencoe would edge it! Magical is the best word to describe Glencoe!

Wedding Words of Wisdom -

It’s about the person standing next to you, your love, and how you envision your once in a lifetime day to be. Soak up every moment and do what feels right to you.

Starbucks Order -

A wedding planner can’t function without caffeine! Skinny Caramel Macchiato is my go to!

On the Day Coordination -

I am not always at every elopement (don’t worry I create THE most detailed wedding timeline issued out to you both and all suppliers ahead of the day) however when I do get the chance to coordinate a couples wedding day it means so much to me! It is always extra special to be apart of the entire day and of course to meet my couples in person!

“The One” -

When I met my Husband I just knew. Over a decade together and he will forever be my best friend, forever my strength and encouragement when I have moments of self doubt, the best Dad to our Son and forever be my always.
